The DarkSide is devoted to user interaction. To further this directive there
are a few games that users may participate in. These games tend to be complex
and require frequent calling.
- TradeWars 2002
- Build an empire in deep space. Set up trade routes and colonize planets.
Fight the evil Frenegi or become a crafty Pirate of Ill repute. The
choices are all yours. Players compete for trading ports and may even
work together in corporations. Volumes have been written on this game
that has essentially been around since the early days of computers.
Note: may take more that fifteen minutes a day to play.
- Global Wars
- Risk your boarders as you fight against enemy territories. This classic
game of global conquest gives you one turn each day. Easily played in
just a few minutes, or you can compete in a number of games at once.
Players move armies, gain territories and attack other players.
- Legend of the Red Dragon (L.O.R.D.)
- The simple game of hack and slash. Fight monsters or other players as
your skills increase. Get better armor and weapons as you learn your
trade. Flirt with the patrons of the Inn and perhaps even get a farie
kiss. This game takes only a few minutes a day and can be quite
enjoyable.
- Barren Realms Elite
- Rule your own kingdom or nation. Send spys and declare war. Save up
your gold to by more lands and better weapons. But be careful, high
taxes and bad conditions can lead to revolts. In this game players
run their own country for eight years (or turns) each day. Treaties
may be enacted and covert operations carried out. This game requires
about five to ten minutes daily participation; less if your fast.
