This picture was taken around 1984 or 1985. The BBS was still running on the Atari 800 with 58k of RAM. This computer is still running! Also visable are my Amdek monitor (also still running). To the right of the computer and monitor is a telephone I modified to add switches to shut off the bell, and take the modem on and off line. The push button was used to connect the modem if I dialed out. Under the phone is a Bell 212a modem. Under that is the Atari 850 interface box that splits off the ports for the modem and printer. On the extreme right is the Panasonic KXP1080i printer which I still have. On the lower shelf you can see the three Percom SSDD disk drives that the system ran on at that time. This system had total disk storage of 524k (yes, k, not Mb.)
