Delays, Delays...

Even with the new system in place there can be times when you catch the busy signal but if you've been waiting for ages to get on to the BBS to send a job - and are getting annoyed - don't!

There are three possibilities:

  1. Someone is using it to send in a big file.
  2. The system has locked up and needs a kick!
  3. Someone is using it to read all the online chat or something equally low priority.

Therefore, chances are two out of three that something can be done to fix it immediately - or in the event that it is genuinely busy - we can give you a guesstimate of how long it will be - or talk you through using FTP instead.
