File & Mailboard AD FUNDUM

Well, I pulled the plug on my BBS on August 1, 1997. That's the month I moved to Arnhem, and since the internet is becoming more and more the electronic medium of today, I decided to stop running the BBS. I'll keep the pictures & info about Ad Fundum for a while to give you an impression of what the BBS looked like. This is how it looked if you logged on to my BBS, File & Mailboard AD FUNDUM.

It looks like Dave logged on that night. He was one of my better users, he even donated some money. Too bad he misbehaved a little too often with his flawed humour. I thought a lot of locking him out!

Here's the Ad Fundum Main Menu sitting in a DOS-box under Win95. One day David misbehaved for the last time on my BBS, so I locked him out. Check out who was online this moment (left-bottom corner). I don't know why, but somehow my users' names sounded familiar.. Hm, must be imagination..
